Freelance Telemarketer World Business Contact Center (WBCC) Santa Monica, CA is seeking an outgoing, career-oriented professional to be a part of a dynamic team. As a WBCC team member, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote WBCC products.

Mission

Under the direction of the sales manager, the Telemarketer is responsible for the customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about disaster management options.

• After one year as a telemarketer with positive results, the telemarketing member is eligible to promote to Disaster Manager

  • Become familiar with the commercial script as a guideline to meeting agency objectives
  • Daily calls and tracking of the number of homeowners contacted for potential clients
  • Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services relative to disaster management.
  • Apply WBCC training on products and services to respond to technical questions of customers
  • Processes files sent by sales manager
  • Maintains a professional image, while ensuring the follow up of prospects files
  • Sends contracts by email; follows up by scheduling appointments by email with prospective client

COMPETENCES

  • 3 year call center experience
  • Must be a self-motivated individual who is able to follow a telemarketer script without deviation
  • Able to learn computer functions and be passionate about sales and the resolution of homeowner challenges
  • Ability to listen to the clients needs and offer support, while smiling, being empathic and diplomatic
  • Demonstrates good negotiating skills
  • Ability to make presentations to potential customers
  • Master the art of coaching clients through challenging experiences while prospecting online
  • Able to speak English language (Bilingual preferred)
  • Must have great interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to manage resistant customers and diffuse aggressive or intimidating clients
  • 1 year telemarketing
  • Enthusiastic about the role insurance products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams
